Idaho Stars - IdahoSTARS is the leading expert and resource for quality child care in Idaho. They empower parents and early childhood professionals to make safe, healthy, nurturing and educational child care a top priority. They also support child care professionals to continually improve early care and education practices.
Family Promise of the Palouse - Family Promise of the Palouse (FPP), believes that every family deserves a safe place to call home. With support from our community, 30 interfaith congregations and hundreds of volunteers, they are able to provide shelter, food, and support to help families in our community that need it the most. They are committed to families having a place to call home, and work closely with families to help teach and coach them to be able to get back on their feet.
The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare: This consists of many programs and services. Many of these include support for children, healthcare, families, food/cash assistance, providers, and medical. The primary focus of Health and Welfare is to “promote and protect the health and safety of Idahoans”.
Utilizing the ‘Children’ section leads one to programs and services for child protection/welfare, children’s health, child support services, assistance programs, and pregnancy and early childhood. Under ‘Families’, one can find access to information on how to obtain food stamps, how to adopt, adult mental health, Medicaid, substance abuse, and much, much more, The purpose of this site and department is to provide assistance and guidance to citizens of the state of all ages and backgrounds. |
